Goal and Statement for PE

Goal:
1. Can speak Japanese more fluently
2. Make less grammatical mistakes when speaking Japanese
3. Make pronunciation more native



Activity:
1. Watch Japanese drama and do shadowing.
2. Try to find more reading materials and read aloud.
3. Go to Japanese language table
4. Go to sensei's office hours.

Goal and Activity (General)

Goal:
1. Read and speak Japanese more fluently.
2. Improving listening skills, can understand some simple sentences in Japanese drama.
3. Know more about Japanese culture.

Activity:
1. Study the course materials and complete PE exercises.
2. Watch Japanese drama and do shadowing when watching.
3. Read Japanese novels (in Chinese/English).
4. Try to learn more about Japanese culture. For instance, Noh, Kabuki, etc.

サンクスギビングの休み

サンクスギビングの休みは忙しかった。木曜日にニューヨーグにいて、友達とごはんを食べました。 レシトランの名前は“酒蔵”。あそこの食べ物はとてもおいしかった。

金曜日は“BlackFriday”でした。でも、かいものにざんざんいきませんでした。それから、うちでそじとせんたくをしまして、日本のドラマーをみて、しゅぐだいと研究をしました。

あきやしみ

秋休みにわたしはニユーヨークにいきました。
リンケンセンーターでバレ をみました。

後に、メト博物館にいきました。メトで日本の着物の展示会があります。着物はとてもいいですね。

そして、晩ごはんはそばを食べました。美味しいですね。

Reflection & Goal

I think I have improved intonation but still need to work more on the fluency. 

Activites:

1) Study grammar well. Because I notice that the major problem that I can't speak Japanese very fluently is because I am not familiar with the grammar. The word order in the sentence is quite different from my native language. So if I am quick at constructing the right sentence in Japanese, I will be more fluent in saying it out. 

2) Continue to watch Japanese Drama and do the shadowing. 

3) As for the Japanese Table, unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to go because on Tuesday I usually need to lead a precept. But I will try to attend at least one time before the end of the semester.
